Yoko Kobayashi

The DREIでは、ピアノトリオ用に最近作った曲から、高橋 将・白石美徳両氏がまだこの世に誕生していなかった頃に出来た曲まで演奏していますが、この先、後者も更に増えるような気がします。
長い間眠っていた曲が、世代を越えて新しい時間の中で呼吸を始め、
そして思いがけず新しい表情を見せてくれる、そう感じているのも確かです。
時の流れを不思議に思える感慨深い昨今です
私自身が若かりし頃(音大時代も含め)お披露目できるかどうかも分からない曲を、大事に作っていた自分をちょっとだけ褒めてやりたい気持ちになりました。
2026年のThe DREIは🔸1/15(thu.)からスタートします！

At The DREI, we perform pieces ranging from recent compositions for piano trio to works created long before Sho Takahashi and Yoshinori Shiraishi were born, and I feel that more of the latter will continue to be added in the future.

Pieces that have slept for a long time begin to breathe anew across generations, and unexpectedly show new expressions, which I certainly feel.

It is a poignant time these days, making one marvel at the passage of time. I also feel a bit inclined to praise myself for carefully composing pieces in my youth (including my university music days), whose debut I wasn't even sure I would ever witness. The DREI 2026 will start from Thursday, 15 January!
